Gianfilippo Mancini is the CEO of Sorgenia S.p.A., a private energy company operating in generation, energy management and supply of energy (electricity and gas) in the Italian market. With a turnover above €1 billion, 5 GW of capacity and 0.5 million customers, Sorgenia is one of the main players in the Italian free (unregulated) energy market. From 2007 to 2014, Mr. Mancini was Managing Director of the Generation & Energy Management Division and of the Market Division of Enel. He joined Enel in 1997 as CFO of Enelpower, having previously worked for Olivetti as head of asset management. He is a graduate in Economics and holds a Masters in Law and Economics of the European Market. In 2005 Mr. Mancini completed the Senior Executive Programme at Columbia University, USA.
