Greenwood Biosar completes construction of Vermont solar power project

Greenwood Biosar has announced the completion of a 2.4-MW utility-scale solar photovoltaic project in Vermont. The solar farm is located in Sheldon Springs, around 35 miles north of Burlington.

The project is located in Vermont Electric Cooperative’s service territory. VEC has connected the solar farm to the grid and is purchasing a portion of the power output.

The solar farm is one of the largest in Vermont, according to a release from Greenwood Biosar.
