Westinghouse Electric Company yesterday announced an agreement with AZZ, Inc. to acquire Nuclear Logistics, Inc. (NLI), the largest third-party supplier of safety-related equipment for the nuclear industry.
About 180 employees will join Westinghouse as a result of the deal, as will NLI’s facilities in Texas.
“We welcome NLI’s employees to join in Westinghouse’s commitment to provide forward-thinking solutions to our new construction and operating plant customers and help ensure a bright future for the nuclear industry,” said David Howell, Westinghouse senior vice president, Operating Plants Business.
The transaction is expected to close later this year.
