EDF and GDF Suez will jointly invest 600 million euros ($819.2 million) in the Tihange 1 nuclear power project in Belgium, according to Economic Times.
The project will expand the life of the reactor as part of an overall upgrade project. The Belgian government will sign a profit-sharing agreement with both French companies that will reportedly earn Belgium 1.25 billion euros ($1.71 billion) over 10 years, the article said.
