GE (NYSE: GE) supplied two Frame 6B 3-series gas turbine-generators for the UBE Batam Power Plant just south of Singapore. The new plant boosts the output at Batam by 80 MW.
GE shipped the equipment at the end of 2012, and the new plant is expected to begin commercial service in early 2014. The plant will be owned by PT Medco Power Indonesia.
