Generation services and power plant operator EthosEnergy has announced its new CEO.
Ana Amicarella was appointed and takes the job effective Tuesday. She is a 30-year veteran of the energy and power generation industry and was previously Aggreko’s managing director of Latin America business.
“Ana brings extensive and diverse strategic and operational experience that will help drive future opportunities for EthosEnergy,” Nick Blaskoski, chairman of the board at EthosEnergy, said in a statement. “Our focus remains on broadening the sectors we work in, extending our geographical reach and deepening our customer relationships. Ana’s leadership and vision will take EthosEnergy into its next stage of strategic development and we are delighted to welcome her to the business. ”
Prior to her eight years with Aggreko, Amicarella spent 22 years with GE starting her career in field service roles before moving into global operations and leadership positions.
Commenting on her new position, Amicarella said, “I am excited to be leading EthosEnergy as we move into our next chapter of successful growth. We are a fast moving and dynamic company with a talented pool of people and strong customer base, which I know will help achieve this.”
Amicarella replaces Mark Dobler as head of EthosEnergy. Dobler had been CEO since 2014.
EthosEnergy is headquartered in Houston and Scotland. It offers services for rotating equipment to the power, oil and gas and industrial markets. The company also operates and maintains power plants owned by other parties.
