IIR covers all projects great and small, and is bringing all that insight to POWERGEN Mega

Global power and infrastructure market researcher Industrial Info Resources (IIR) is regarded for its comprehensive analysis of nearly every project, energy and otherwise, going into action around the world. If you build it, IIR will know.

IIR will bring that expertise to POWERGEN International for a Mega-session. The 90-minute “IIR 2020 Industrial and North American Power Market Outlook” will begin 3 p.m. CT Wednesday, November 20 in Room 245 on the second level at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Michael Bergen, IIR’s executive vice president, will offer an in-depth look at key drivers behind next year’s capital and maintenance spending forecast. Bergen will highlight the oil and gas industries, petrochemical complexes and other manufacturing sectors.

Bergen’s colleague Britt Burt, IIR’s vice president of power industry research, will also offer a detailed overview of project spending in the power sector over the next two years. This talk will include overviews of spending for natural gas-fired generation, renewable energies, conventionals, transmission and distribution.

Houston-based IIR tracks $13 trillion worth of capital spending globally. This includes more than 170,000 projects from power plant construction, to operations & maintenance upgrades and more.
