POWERGEN International gained important hometown credibility in announcing that Entergy Corp. will be the host utility when the event comes to New Orleans in November.
The utility, which serves 2.9 million customers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas, will play a central role at POWERGEN, the power generation event which attracts more than 15,000 attendees and close to 900 exhibitors annually. POWERGEN will be November 19-21 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in downtown New Orleans.
“We are pleased to be the host utility for POWERGEN International and look forward to welcoming attendees to see everything New Orleans has to offer this November,” said Paul Hinnenkamp, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Entergy Corp. “POWERGEN consistently delivers one of the top educational exhibitions in our industry each year, and Entergy could not be more excited to play a leading role for the 2019 meeting.
