Plans for a 950-MW gas-fired power plant in Renovo, Pennsylvania are continuing to progress, though slower than anticipated.
Renovo Energy plans to build the plant in a former railroad yard and is currently in the permitting process, the Sun Gazette reported. Barring additional delays, construction should begin by the second quarter of next year. Development for the plant was delayed six months.
Bechtel will provide engineering and construction oversight for the $800 million plant.
