Clyde Bergemann Merges Business Units

The Clyde Bergemann Power Group (CBPG) has announced the merger of two environmentally-focused business units within its American division. The company will combine its “Material Handling” and “Air Pollution Control” units in an effort to strengthen its market position, while fostering increased competitiveness and sustained growth.

The new “Environmental Technologies” company will be located in Pennsylvania and headed by President Ron Tempesta. Expected to be fully operational by September 2016, the company will provide environmentally-sound solutions for particulate capture, acid gas/heavy metal mitigation, bottom/fly ash handling, and pneumatic conveying systems.

“We are excited to offer our customers new possibilities as a result of both improved intrinsic cost efficiency, as well as technology synergies of the newly formed company,” said Franz Bartels, president and CEO of the CBPG.

Among its many services, the CBPG provides energy efficiency solutions, boiler cleaning systems, material handling systems, and flue gas cleaning equipment.
