2nd Phase of Quebec Wind Energy Farm Begins Operations

EDF EN Canada Inc. commissioned the 200-MW Rivière-du-Moulin Phase 2 wind power project in Quebec.
The $800 million, 350 MW project is under a single power purchase agreement with Hydro Quebec, and is the largest onshore wind facility to be developed, built and put into service by the EDF EN Group globally. The first, 150-MW phase reached commissioning Nov. 27, 2014. The second reached commissioning Nov. 14, 2015.
DIM WIND LP, a limited partnership formed by a consortium of three affiliates of the Desjardins Group, Manulife financial Corp. and iA Financial Group, will own a 42.5 percent stake in the project.
