The 600-MW Fort Calhoun nuclear power plant in Nebraska was returned to full power after a leak was found and repaired.
The plant returned to service July 30 after it was shut down for nine days due to a coolant pump leak. Plant operator Omaha Public Power District says the coolant water was contained inside the plant and treated, according to the Associated Press. Workers used the outage to perform other maintenance repairs as needed.
