Several jobs are being cut at the Trawsfynydd nuclear power plant in Wales.
Plant owner Magnox said 90 jobs are expected to go between now and the end of 2015, according to BBC. The staff worked for different contractors at the plant. Around 180 workers are employed at the site, with the number employed by contractors expected to decrease from 220 to 130.
The Trawsfynydd nuclear power plant ended operations in 1993 and decommissioning work started in 1995. It is set to enter a long-term care and maintenance period in 2016 that allows radiation levels to naturally decay over time.
