Four solar PV plants connected to N.C. power grid

Consortium of Illinois Utilities Plans Solar Array, Energy Storage System

SunEdison (NYSE: SUNE) and TerraForm Power Inc. (Nasdaq: TERP) interconnected four solar photovoltaic power plants in North Carolina with a total generating capacity of 26 MW.
TerraForm will sell the output of the plants to Duke Energy Progress (NYSE: DUK) under 15-year power purchase agreements. SunEdison secured financing for the plants through federal and state tax equity investors. SunEdison Services will perform operation and maintenance on the plants.
