Global Nuclear Fuel (GNF), a joint venture of GE (NYSE: GE), Hitachi and Toshiba, will continue to provide fuel reloads for the Cooper Nuclear Station in Nebraska.

The $100 million fuel supply contract with Nebraska Public Power District runs through January 2034 and includes nine reloads for the 810-MW reactor. GNF has fueled the Cooper Station since the joint venture was formed in 2000. Before that, the nuclear fuel division of GE Nuclear provided the reloads.
