Don’t miss the POWER-GEN Financial Forum

Tom Kiernan, CEO of the American Wind Energy Association, will deliver the keynote address at the 4th Annual POWER-GEN International Financial Forum, Dec. 10-11 in Orlando, Florida.

Kiernan will discuss the market for wind power projects and the industry’s strategy to finance more projects in the U.S. The keynote luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

The Financial Forum includes several eye-opening conference sessions, including a Wednesday morning plenary session entitled “The State of Power Project Financing.” The plenary session panelists are: Ted Brandt, CEO of Marathon Capital; Chris Diaz, senior vice president of Renewable Energy for Seminole Financial Services; and Craig O’Connor, director of business development in the Alternative Energy Group at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. . 

Financial Forum panelists will explore the financing options and strategies that work best in today’s market. They will also discuss liquidity issues, risk and return expectations, new development possibilities, and the financial and regulatory barriers to overcome in today’s tight financial market.

Are there emerging new sources of financing for energy projects? What are the risks associated with certain technologies and what risks worry lenders the most? Panelists will attempt to answer these and many other questions over the course of this conference.
