Global Nuclear Fuel to provide fuel to German nuclear reactor

GNF ENUSA Nuclear Fuel S.A. (GENUSA) was picked by RWE and E.ON to provide nuclear fuel reloads for the Gundremmingen C reactor in Germany.

The contract calls for three reloads with the option for two more that could potentially provide fuel to the plant during its remaining lifetime. GENUSA previously provided fuel to the unit since 1998, having delivered about 1,100 fuel bundles.

GNF is a joint venture of GE (NYSE: GE), Toshiba and Hitachi.
