The Mexican Energy Regulatory Commission approved 220 MW of solar photovoltaic capacity in seven projects.
Bloomberg reports that five of the projects are located in the northern state of Chihuahua, including the 33-MW Desarrollos Solares Nacut plant. The other two are in the central state of Guanajuato and the northern state of Coahuila.
Mexico has the capacity to generate 150 MW of solar currently, the article said.
