General Electric (NYSE: GE) appointed three new company officers. GE has 195 officers globally who lead large revenue-generating businesses, are in critical technology or functional roles.
Robert Casper has been named vice president and chief data officer for GE Capital. Casper joined GE from Morgan Stanley, where he held several leadership roles, most recently as managing director, holding senior roles in risk, IT and data.
Fengming Liu will serve as vice president and general counsel, government affairs & policy – Greater China for GE’s Global Growth Organization. Prior to joining GE in 2011, Liu held fellowships at Harvard Law School and Princeton University. He previously served as vice president and associate general counsel for Microsoft in Beijing, China.
Dominique Malenfant has been appointed to vice president of global technology for GE Transportation. Malenfant joined GE from Bombardier Transportation, where he held a series of leadership roles since joining in 1991. Most recently, he served as vice president – global product and engineering – propulsion & control business unit.
