Areva completed a financing scheme to support the ramp up of a uranium enrichment plant in France owned by SET.
The financing is a loan of €650 million ($887.9 million) over 10 years from 10 international banks. It is underpinned by future revenues from the Georges Besse 2 plant, which is 84 percent complete as of May 2014.
The Areva-operated Georges Besse plant ceased production in May 2012 and was shut down the following June.
