Reactor vessel placed at Shin-Hanul nuclear power project in Korea

The reactor vessel at the Shin-Hanul Unit 1 nuclear power plant in Korea was put into place.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., a unit of Korea Electric Power Co., placed the vessel in the 1,400-MW APR1400 reactor. The reactor is also being used in three other units: Shin-Hanul 2 and Shin Kori 3 and 4.

Shin-Hanul Unit 1 is expected to come online in April 2017, and Unit 2 is scheduled for completion in April 2018.
