Unirac, Cobalt Power Systems to supply second largest solar roof installation in Palo Alto

Navigant Research: Annual Revenue from Global Solar PV Installations to Top $151B in 2024

Unirac Inc., a Hilti Group Co. and provider of competitive photovoltaic (PV) mounting solutions in North America, was choosen by Cobalt Power Systems Inc. to provide a 397.5-kW Roof Mount (RM) mounting system at the Oshman Family JCC (OFJCC) campus, in Palo Alto, Calif.

Developed by THiNKnrg, the installation, is Palo Alto’s second largest solar roof system and encompasses 1,840 solar panels on 12 buildings of the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life (TKCJL).

The arrays will generate enough energy to offset approximately 9,500 tons of CO2 over the next 20 years.
