Panda Power Funds selected GP Strategies Corp. (NYSE: GPX) to provide instructor-led training and GPiLEARN™ web-based training at three of its Texas natural gas power plants. GP Strategies’ EtaPRO™ technology was also chosen to monitor the plants.
Two of the facilities, Temple I & II power generating stations, will have a combined capacity of 1516-MW and the Sherman plant will produce 758-MW of power. All three combined cycle power plants will also use emissions-control technology.
Panda Power said that training is needed for site crews to ensure the highest level of performance and efficiency.
