Iowa wind farm receives utility permits

The Lundgren Wind Project has received utility permits from the Webster County Board of Supervisors.

The permits allow Wanzek Construction to install electrical lines to 10 wind turbines.

Construction on the 250-MW power project started last fall and is owned by MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co.

In 2013, MidAmerican reached an agreement for the acquisition of the wind project in Webster County, Iowa from EDF Renewable Energy.
