SolarReserve expands business into Dubai United Arab Emirates

Boston-based Broadway Electrical Co. Inc. is going out of business and leaving 20 MW of solar power projects on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts unfinished, according to a report by the Cape Cod Times.

The projects were being built for the Cape & Vineyard Electric Cooperative, according to the report. The cooperative’s agreements with Broadway authorize the company to transfer the projects to its financiers, G&S Solar Installers LLC and RNK Capital LLC.

According to the report, the cooperative’s goal is to complete the projects by June to meet a state deadline for a program that offers an incentive of renewable energy certificates specifically for solar power projects.
