New waste-to-energy facility in Ohio to go online by 2015

Vadxx Energy has closed on financing for its first commercial-scale, plastic waste-to-energy facility, located in Akron, Ohio.

The facility is scheduled to go online early 2015, and will recycle almost 60 tons per day of waste plastics.

Vadxx entered a financial agreement with private equity firm, Liberation Capital.

The facility will be commissioned and manufactured by Rockwell Automation, a procurement and construction contractor.
