Construction begins on Oklahoma wind energy project

Enel Green Power North America broke ground on the 150 MW Origin wind energy project in Oklahoma Nov. 21.

Construction of the plant is expected to cost $250 million. It is owned by Origin Wind Energy, a subsidiary of Enel Green Power North America, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2014. The project has a 20-year power purchase agreement for the output of the project.
