Westinghouse names Hamilton SVP of environmental & safety division

Westinghouse Electric Co. appointed Steve Hamilton as senior vice president, quality, environment, health and safety, effective immediately.

Hamilton has more than 32 years of global nuclear quality experience. He previously was senior vice president, nuclear oversight with GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy. Prior to that, he worked with AREVA Inc. and spent 13 years at Carolina Power & Light’s Brunswick Nuclear Station. He holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from University of North Carolina and a master’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University.
