GE has introduced its 3.2-103 brilliant wind turbine engineered specifically for permit constraints in the United Kingdom and Ireland, the company announced today. The turbine has a 5 percent increase in energy output compared to the company’s current model.
The 3.2-103 turbine will generate more power for sites with medium to high wind speeds, according to the company. It has a hub height flexibility of 70 to 98 meters and a 103-meter rotor diameter.
The turbine is engineered for IEC Wind Class II standards and is available for 50-Hz applications.
