Alstom announced it has named Amy Ericson its U.S. country president, where she will oversee the company’s engagement with U.S. policy stakeholders and support its pursuit of new business opportunities.
Ericson previously served as vice president of product platform management for Alstom’s global gas-fired power generation business and has held strategic operations, business strategy, mergers and acquisitions and global marketing positions with several of Alstom’s power generation businesses. “With 8,000 U.S. employees and major production and technology centers across 45 states and D.C., Alstom is well-positioned to deliver the technology innovations customers need to advance America’s energy and transportation future,” Ericson stated in a release. “I look forward to helping customers and the broader U.S. market take full advantage of our strong domestic capability as well as Alstom’s global expertise.”
Ericson will be a keynote speaker at POWER-GEN Intenational, which will be held Nov. 12-14 in Orlando, Fla.
