Enel Green Power will build a 100 MW capacity wind farm in Mexico, and sell the output through two power purchase agreements (PPAs) worth $485 million.
The PPAs are with automative supplier Delphi Automotive PLC and Banamex, one of Mexico’s largest banks. The wind farm will be built through one of Enel’s units, Dominica Energia Limpia, and requires an investment of $196 million. Construction is expected to start in the coming months, according to a press release.
