Layoffs associated with the shuttering of Wisconson’s Kewaunee nuclear power plant are scheduled to begin in late May, the Associated Press reports.

According to the AP, the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development said it was notified that about 633 jobs will be lost at the facility beginning May 31. Unable to find a buyer for Kewaunee, plant owner Dominion Resources (NYSE: D) said it will move forward with plans to close and decommission the facility.
