Off-site power restored to Pilgrim nuclear power station

Off-site power has been restored to Entergy (NYSE: ETR)’s Pilgrim nuclear power station in Massachusetts after an interruption caused by snowstorm Nemo last weekend. Pilgrim announced the restoration of off-site power on its Twitter account Feb. 13.

The company said the power was restored Feb. 12 after a thorough evaluation by plant staff. While the power was off, the plant’s diesel generators provided on-site electrical power.

The plant will be returned to service after maintenance and surveillance activities are completed, according to the company.
