SC Johnson is increasing the amount of output from a wind energy farm constructed by ENEL to power its facility in Toluca, Mexico.

The company said it will use an estimated 86 percent of wind power, up by 65 percent, and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions from the same facility by 57 percent.

The turbines are located in Oaxaca. The deal was signed as part of Comision Federal de Electricidad’s wind farm program. SC Johnson said it expects to begin using the wind power by mid-2013.
