Element Power Holdings names new interim chairman; reorganizes corporate structure

Element Power Holdings announced Friday that Joe Slamm, co-founding partner of Hudson Clean Energy Partners and a current member of the board of directors, will serve as the company’s interim chairman following the departure of Pedro Barriuso.

Hudson Clean Energy, a private equity firm based in N.J., is Element’s principal investor.

Element, which has its main offices in Portland, Ore., London and Madrid, also announced that Ty Daul, the current chief executive officer of Element Power North America, will become CEO of Element Power Americas, which consolidates the company’s activities in the United States, Central America in Latin America.

Element also consolidated the company’s activities in Europe, with Mike O’Neill, current president and chief operating officer of Element Power Holdings, taking the role of CEO of Element Power Europe.
