Wind power farm in Mexico earns loan

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) approved a $76 million loan to Impulsora Nacional de Electricidad, a subsidiary of Enel Green Power, for its $169 million, 74 MW Bii Nee Stipa II wind power project in Mexico.

Gamesa developed and constructed the 37 G80-2 MW wind turbines and will provide operation and maintenance for two years. Construction on the farm was completed on July 9.

National power company CFE will purchase all of the output from the plant.
