Invenergy has filed a notice of intent with the Oregon Energy Facilities Siting Council for the construction of a 502 MW wind facility in Morrow County. The proposed facility, Heppner Wind Energy, would also require a new 230 kV transmission line that would run from the northern portion of the facility to a new substation near Stanfield.
Invenergy also owns the 72MW Willow Creek Wind project in Morrow and neighboring Gilliam counties.
The notice of intent is available here.
