Frank M. Clark, chairman and CEO of Commonwealth Edison Co. (ComEd), will retire once parent company Exelon’s (NYSE: EXC) acquisition of Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG) is complete. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2012.
Clark was named as the company’s first African-American president in 2001 and as its first African-American chairman and CEO in 2005. He has been with the company for 46 years.
Clark earned both bachelor’s and law degrees from DePaul University.
