Vogt signs deal to supply HRSGs

2 October 2009– Vogt Power International, a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc., was chosen to supply two heat recovery steam generators to South Mississippi Electric Power Association for the Moselle Repower Project in Mississippi.

Vogt Power will design, manufacture and deliver two natural gas fired,
two pressure level, natural circulation HRSGs with a selective catalytic
reduction system to remove nitrogen oxide from the gas turbine exhaust
stream. The HRSGs will be installed behind General Electric’s 7EA gas
turbines.

The combined cycle unit is expected to add an additional 134 MW of
generation capacity to the 177 MW gas and oil-fired Moselle Generating
Station and is expected to be complete by 2012.
