All of the numbers went to a party and numbers, being what they are, soon separated themselves into groups. All the even numbers stayed around each other and all the odd numbers did the same thing. Neither group interacted with each other.
As the number two was chatting with the number four, he noticed that zero was on his own in the corner. He suggested to four that because zero is sort of even, he should be encouraged to mix with the even numbers. The number four agreed.
So off went the number two to invite zero into their group.
“Would you like to join us?” asked the number two.
To which zero replied, “I have nothing to add!” p
