Sherritt to start building 150 MW Cuban expansion

The 80 MW first phase involves the installation of two additional gas turbines which should be operating within 18 months of construction starting. The second phase would add 70 MW in combined cycle operations.

28 July 2004 – America’s National Energy & Gas Transmission, Inc. (NEGT), ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC and Caithness Energy, LLC yesterday announced a definitive agreement for Denali Power, LLC, a company formed by affiliates of ArcLight and Caithness, to acquire NEGT’s equity interests in 12 power plants and a natural gas pipeline for approximately $558m, subject to certain post-closing adjustments as specified in the definitive agreement.
