Areva T&D wins €18m UK order from EDF

The contract, worth €18m ($21.5m), is to supply a new indoor 24-bay 132kV gas-insulated substation in the Croydon area of Greater London to replace an existing outdoor air-insulated substation.

20 May 2004 – German energy utility E.ON has announced its intention to build an interconnection linking the electricity networks of Hungary and it neighbours. Gyorgy Kobor, an executive at the company’s local energy trading unit said that the plan would link Hungary with Austria and Slovakia.
