Wood Group Power appoints Nick Blaskoski as executive vice president

Nov. 19, 2003 — Wood Group Power, Inc., part of the Gas Turbine Services business of John Wood Group PLC has appointed Nick Blaskoski to the position of Executive Vice President, effective from 9th October 2003.

Mr Blaskoski has more than 25 years experience in the gas turbine industry, and has held senior management positions with both Allison and Rolls-Royce in the US and UK. His responsibilities at Wood Group Power will concentrate on the growth and enhancement of the business’ Heavy Industrial Turbines and Field Service Operations divisions in the Americas, and maximizing the synergy between these two critical parts of the Wood Group Power organization.
