Edgen Corporation, a provider of products and services to the energy and power industries, has named Craig Kiefer president of its newly formed Carbon Products Group.

Peter Christman, Jr. has been named vice president and general manager of Pratt & Whitney Power Systems, succeeding Ellen Smith.

Dave Modeen has been appointed chief nuclear officer and vice president of the nuclear power sector at the Electric Power Research Institute.

Westinghouse Electric has named James A. Fici senior vice president of the nuclear utilities group.

Black & Veatch Pritchard Inc. has named Joe Fossella to head its global business development efforts. Black & Veatch has also named Mike Elzey, formerly a director with Pricewaterhouse Coopers Management Consulting Services Practice, vice president of its newly created Enterprise Consulting Division where he will be responsible for product development, its information services group and business development functions.

Dr. Leonard K. Peters has been named director of DOE Battelle’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Headwaters Inc. has named Kenneth R. Frailey president of Covol Fuels.

Invensys has named Ryan Roberts vice president and general manager of services for the company’s manufacturing and process solutions business unit.

Alan J. Noia, chairman, president, and CEO of Allegheny Energy, has announced his decision to retire.

Emerson Process Management has named Kenneth Biele president of Rosemount Analytical’s Liquid Division with responsibility for operations, development and marketing of the company’s liquid analysis instrumentation.

Roy Anderson has joined PSEG Power as chief nuclear officer and president of its nuclear subsidiary upon the planned retirement of Harold W. Keiser.
