New president named for GE Nuclear energy

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 10, 2003 — Andrew White has been named President of GE Nuclear Energy, Inc., a GE Power Systems business.

White has over 20 years of experience with GE Power Systems and was recently named a company officer. He most recently served as General Manager, Installation and Field Services, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

White received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bath University, UK. In 1981, White joined GE as a Field Engineer in London, England. He has a wide range of experience in Energy Products, Technology and Services, having served as General Manager of Asia Services, as well as General Manager of GE’s Global Operations & Maintenance Services. He and his family will be moving to Wilmington, North Carolina.
