HOUSTON, Texas, March 8, 2002 — Gexa Energy Corp. a Texas retail electric provider, reported it was pleased with the results of its second month of operations since deregulation began in Texas.
Gexa Energy said it continues to successfully transition new customers onto its electric service for the second month in a row. In addition, Gexa Energy has billed and recorded revenue in excess of proforma for February.
Gexa Energy again reports that it has exceeded its second month’s projections in all sales categories, electricity consumption and operations. Based on early estimates, March results also appear to be exceeding initial forecasts.
