ELK RIVER, Minn., Feb. 14, 2001 (PRNewswire) Great River Energy has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to meet its need for 200-300 MW of peaking or intermediate power supply resources to be available in the 2002 to 2005 timeframe, as identified in its 2001 Resource Plan filed with the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission on February 1.
In the RFP, Great River Energy states it is interested in a broad spectrum of responses, from power purchase arrangements to Great River Energy ownership of specific resources. The minimum project size to be considered is 50 MW.
