SAN DIEGO, Feb. 7, 2001, (PRNewswire) CES International, a leading provider of operations resource management (ORM) software for the utilities industry, today announced at DistribuTECH 2001 that it has entered into an alliance agreement with PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world’s largest professional services organization, to deliver integrated ORM solutions to distribution utility companies.
The alliance combines PricewaterhouseCoopers’ deep experience in providing consulting and systems integration services in the energy and utilities industries with CES International’s comprehensive, real-time ORM applications. CES has developed its flagship product the Centricity ORM system to enable utilities to optimize their distribution network and drive customer satisfaction. PricewaterhouseCoopers plans to train a portion of its utility consulting practice on CES’ solutions and will work with CES to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
