Ogden completes OEES transaction

NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2000—Ogden Corporation (NYSE: OG) today announced that it has completed the sale of the consulting operations of Ogden Environmental and Energy Services (OEES) to AMEC (LSE: AMEC), an international design firm.

As announced on October 30, 2000, under the agreement, Ogden received $15 million upon closing of the transaction, and will receive an additional $2.5 million six months thereafter, subject to certain contractual conditions.

As previously announced, Ogden is also currently winding down OEES’ construction operations, which are separate from its consulting operations.
