DOE combines centers
The U.S. Department of Energy`s (DOE) two Energy Technology Centers in Morgantown, W.Va., and Pittsburgh, Pa., have been consolidated. The consolidated field organization is called the Federal Energy Technology Center (FETC), and the new director is Rita A. Bajura. Bajura is bringing together a single management team to oversee activities at both sites.
The FETC will continue the public-private technology partnership, working closely with customers in the domestic power generation industry to develop advanced technology options and environmental control technologies.
